IPUT Real Estate (‘IPUT’), Dublin’s leading property investment company, announces it has let Unit 8 at Nexus Logistics Park (‘Nexus’) to Paladin EnviroTech (‘Paladin’), a leading global IT Asset Disposition and electronics recycling firm. Paladin will occupy 53,000 sq ft of sustainable logistics space at Nexus.

Unit 8 has been delivered to the highest sustainability standards, including BER A1 and LEED Gold. Unit 8 also incorporates glulam timber structural frame technology, an offering across the logistics space which IPUT has pioneered in Ireland. This offers up to 27% lower embodied carbon than steel and provides the potential to achieve Net Zero Carbon standard. Unit 8 also includes a range of sustainable design features such as roof-mounted solar panels, high-efficiency LED lighting, rainwater harvesting systems and advanced building envelopes to enhance thermal performance.

Unit 8 forms part of the first phase of development at Nexus, which will deliver 1.5 million sq ft across nine units, ranging from 53,000 sq ft to 460,000 sq ft. Nexus has been designed to redefine the logistics workplace in Ireland, and occupiers at the park will benefit from an exceptional range of on-site amenities, including: a fully fitted gym, café, astro pitch and padel courts, as well as a dedicated walking and cycling routes. These amenities are scheduled for delivery in August 2026.

Following the successful letting of Unit 8 to Paladin, IPUT is commencing the development of Unit 3 (148,000 sq ft), with completion targeted for May 2027.

Niall Gaffney, Chief Executive of IPUT Real Estate, commented:

This is an important moment in the development of Nexus, one of the most sustainable logistics parks in Europe. Attracting a leading international occupier of the calibre of Paladin is a strong vote of confidence in both the park and our long-term vision for the location.

Our continued investment in Ireland’s logistics sector is underpinned by structural shifts in global trade that are driving growing occupier demand for high-quality, sustainable logistics spaces. At Nexus, we are redefining the Irish logistics workplace, setting a new benchmark for design, innovation and sustainability across the sector. Our significant investment in the public realm and occupier amenities also reflects our commitment to creating and owning some of the best workplaces in the world, while delivering lasting value for local communities.

Eva Warren, VP of Business Development of Paladin EnviroTech, commented:

Our expansion into Nexus Logistics Park represents an exciting milestone in Paladin’s continued growth across Europe. We were drawn to Nexus because of its forward-thinking approach to sustainability and innovation, which closely aligns with our mission to securely extend the lifecycle of technology, recover critical materials, and reduce environmental impact. We’re excited to join a development that shares our commitment to building a more sustainable future while supporting our customers across Ireland and Europe.

Upon completion of Nexus, IPUT’s logistics portfolio will increase to 6 million sq ft from 3.2 million sq ft. The successful letting at Nexus follows on from IPUT’s successful 550,000 sq ft Quantum Logistics Park development which is fully let to leading global occupiers Maersk, DHL and Harvey Norman.
